Cleaning Services Explained
Regular Cleaning vs. Deep Cleaning: Which One Do You Need?

When you request professional cleaning, one of the first questions is whether your space needs regular maintenance or a more detailed clean. Both can be useful, but they serve different priorities. The best starting point is the condition of your property and the areas you want help with.
What Is Regular Cleaning?
Regular cleaning helps maintain the everyday areas you have agreed to include in the service. In a home, those areas may include bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, floors, living spaces, and other common rooms.
The goal is ongoing care rather than assuming every possible task is included in each visit. A clear scope helps you and your cleaner understand what the appointment will cover.
If your property is already maintained and you want help keeping it that way, regular cleaning may fit your needs. Weekly, biweekly, and monthly visits provide different levels of ongoing support; the right frequency depends on your household, routine, and priorities.
What Is Deep Cleaning?
Deep cleaning gives selected areas a more detailed level of attention. It can be useful when a property has spaces that need extra care beyond everyday maintenance.
For example, you may want to discuss overlooked areas, accumulated buildup, or a room that has not received detailed attention recently. Describe what you are seeing rather than choosing a service only by its name.
Inside appliances, interior windows, organization, and other extra tasks should be discussed separately. A deep cleaning request does not automatically include every extra service.
How Do You Choose?
Think about three questions:
- What is the current condition of the space? Explain whether it is maintained regularly or has areas needing additional work.
- Which rooms and tasks matter most? List your priorities, including any areas you want excluded.
- Do you want a one-time visit or ongoing help? Your answer helps shape a suitable cleaning plan.
If you are unsure, you do not need to guess. Tell Maria about the property and the result you are looking for so the request can be reviewed.
Moving Requires Its Own Conversation
Moving into a property and leaving one are different situations. Use the Move-In Cleaning or Move-Out Cleaning option when requesting help with a move.
Include whether the property will be empty or furnished, your preferred date, and any requirements you have received from a landlord or property manager. Maria can then discuss the scope of work rather than treating a moving request as a standard maintenance visit.
What to Include in Your Quote Request
Share the property type, bedroom and bathroom counts where relevant, approximate size if known, cleaning frequency, and preferred date. Mention extras, pets and pet hair, partial cleaning, or areas needing intensive attention.
Photographs can also help explain your request. Avoid including personal documents or private information in uploaded photos.
